El Rapaz – FAQs

Here are some of the questions that our guests usually ask! We hope you find it helpful.

You can charter El Rapaz (60ft Trimaran) for 34k on weekdays and 42k on weekends. She can fit 15pax on daytrip and 6 overnight

You can charter El Alavanco (42 ft sailboat) for 28k on weekdays and 36k on weekends. She can fit 10pax on daytrip and 6 overnight.

You can enjoy unlimited water activities for free : banana boat, paddle board and night snorkeling

You can bring your drinks/snacks or order from our menu.

Where is the onboarding place? Is there safe parking?

We leave from a nice bay in Anilao. It takes around 2.5 hours to come from Manila and no COVID test is required. This is the link to our pick up point: https://goo.gl/maps/iZvDCDtTeM8RBULbA

Once you arrive in the bay, our captains will pick you up with our rubber boats and transfer you to the yacht that will be just in front.

There is safe parking in the place so you do not need to worry about it.

Are all water activities really unlimited and free?

Yes! All water activities are unlimited and free!

In El Rapaz we have banana boat, tubing, stand up paddle board, snorkeling gear you can borrow and kayak for you to enjoy.

In El Alavanco we have banana boat, stand up paddle board, and snorkeling gear you can borrow and enjoy.

What are the destinations?

Our guests favourite destinations are Sombrero Island and Marikaban Island! They both have nice coves where to anchor the boat and enjoy the unlimited water activities including banana boat and stand up paddle board! Banana boat is the favourite! Everybody loves it!

They also have great snorkeling areas and blue triggerfish often come close to the yacht so we can feed them 🙂 You can borrow snorkeling gear from us 🙂

After the activities you can have a nice lunch at the flybridge. Our best seller are the paellas 😊 In the afternoon you can enjoy sunset dinner while the sun is going down with fantastic views.

Families and kids love this trip!

If you stay overnight we will spend the night in our mooring in Anilao that is in a very calm bay so you can have a pleasant night! You will definitely enjoy sunrise breakfast here 😊
For your safety we can only accommodate overnight in Puerto Galera for 2 day stays or longer if weather allows and waves in the Verde Island passage are ok.

Please note that we have electric fans in the cabins but we do not have aircon. Depending on the weather during the day and the breeze at night you may feel warm.

Please remember we are a yacht adventure experience and we are not a super luxurious yacht setup. We work hard to be super competitive and make yachting & water activities reachable for all. Hope you understand!

What are the sleeping arrangements if I decide to stay overnight?

El Rapaz has two big rooms with a king bed each. Both rooms have a private bathroom with shower.  Each room can accommodate a couple with young kids comfortably.

El Alavanco has two rooms that can each accommodate 1 couple. It has 2 bathrooms. El Alvanco also has 2 sofas that you can also use to sleep at night.

Our recommended max is 4-6. If you want to go beyond 6 and you’re ok sleeping on the deck or the flybridge that is ok with us. If you want to go beyond 6 pax overnight in El Rapaz or 4 pax overnight in el Alavanco there is an add on of 2k per adult or 1k per kid.

You can see El Rapaz flybridge and rooms here: https://www.instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE3ODg3OTUzOTg4OTc3Njgz?igshid=a20jebu005yd&story_media_id=2501630432551113425

Is there an extra charge if we bring more people?

If you want to go beyond 15 pax on a daytrip in El Rapaz or beyond 10 for El Alavanco there is an add on of 1k per extra adult and 0.5k per extra kid. We do not encourage going beyond the maximum to avoid feeling too crowded.

What are the food arrangements on the boat?

We allow drinks onboard and we don’t charge any corkage. We have a cooler with ice where you can keep your drinks cold if you bring any. You can also choose buying drinks from us.

We also allow customers to bring snacks but we’ve had some bad experiences with people cooking at the boat so we decided that it is safer not to allow cooking.

We have a chef on board and we offer a very complete menu. We also accept also special requests.

You can check our menu here: https://www.instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE3ODY1MjUxNDIwMzIzNjA2?igshid=irhadcdl0yo8&story_media_id=2480334642730183720

What happens if I want to cook my own food?

We cannot allow customers to cook due to safety reasons but we allow them to bring their own food and our chef can cook it.

The rate for our chef to cook your food would be 5k per day.

How do I reserve?

To confirm the reservation we require a 50% deposit. Please note that we cannot confirm your reservation until we receive the payment! We have had bad experiences in the past so we must apply a first come first serve policy!

What happens if I need to change my date?

If something unexpected like unsafe weather conditions we will work together to reschedule the trip to another day that works well for both! We are here to help.
